Call for Papers - Special Issue on User-Oriented Seamless Healthcare Service in the Ubiquitous Environment - International Conference on Medical and Health Informatics (ICMHI 2018) & International Conference on Healthcare Service Management (ICHSM 2018)
On behalf of the ICMHI, 2018 (www.icmhi.org) and ICHSM, 2018 (www.ichsm.org) the International Journal of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (IJMESS) is pleased to announce that the second International Conference on Medical and Health Informatics 2018 (ICMHI 2018) and first International Conference on Healthcare Service Management (ICHSM 2018) will be held in Tsukuba, Japan on June 8-10, 2018. The ICMHI 2018 & ICHSM 2018 aims to bring together outstanding scholars, researchers, and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Medical and Health Sciences and management.
This special issue primarily focuses on the importance of integrating domain knowledge in predictive and prognostic methods for personalized treatment. Also, this special issue spans theoretical, practical, and technical issues in medical informatics and healthcare quality. Research on applications of prevention, prediction and prognosis topics are included for this special issue. Practical experiences and experiments in using business intelligence and healthcare information management are also welcome. ICMHI & ICHSM also provide the keynote address and several plenary invited speeches to discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the various solutions in the fields of medical, health informatics and healthcare management. ICMHI cordially welcome all experts of industry, academia and government from all over the world to contribute to and help shape this conference through submissions of their research papers.
The Committee welcomes papers on topics including but not limited to the followings:
- Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
- Cloud Computing and Big Data
- Health/Medicine informatics education
- Risk Evaluation & Modeling
- Knowledge Abstraction, Classification & Summarization
- Patient Safety & Clinical Outcomes
- Public Health Informatics
- Statistics & Quality of Medical Data
Timely submission of the papers is critical to the success of the program. The tentative timetable is setup as follows:
- Manuscript submission deadline: July 1, 2018
- Notification of review results: October 1, 2018
- Revised manuscript due: December 1, 2018
- Final acceptance decision: December 31, 2018
- Scheduled publication: March/April, 2019
Review of the papers:
Each submitted paper will be handled by one of the guest editors depending upon the research fields. Later, the guest editor will find appropriate reviewers to review the submissions. All papers will be peer reviewed by at least three reviewers. The entire reviewing process will be conducted and monitored by guest editors. When all of the accepted papers have been gathered together, then the lead guest editor will e-mail all of the accepted manuscripts in accordance with IJMESS format.
